This page presents the terms of service for Prenew's online store. The terms are divided into two parts: purchase terms for online store customers and sales terms for consumers selling their computers to Prenew.
- Validity of the agreement, product and price information
- Placing an order
- Delivery
- Right of withdrawal
- Defective goods
- Direct marketing and handling of personal data
- Dispute resolution
- Seller's obligations
- Sales terms
The online store Prenew (hereinafter referred to as the "online store") is owned by Prenew with business ID 3284591-3, located at Tietäjäntie 2, 02130, Espoo, Finland.
The sales terms apply to purchases of goods through the online store. The prices of the products sold in the online store are displayed next to each product. Shipping costs may apply, and these depend on the buyer's geographical location and the chosen delivery method. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout. All prices are displayed in euros (€). Product information is presented directly next to each product in the online store.
- Select products: Add the desired products to the shopping cart to order them.
- Fill in details: Fill in all required fields and select the delivery method that suits you best to complete the order.
- Review the price: The total amount is displayed on the screen.
- Payment: Payment can be made securely using the payment methods offered by Stripe.
The personal data required to process the payment is transferred to the authorized payment processor Stripe.
The agreement takes effect when the payment amount has been transferred to the online store's bank account. If we are unable to deliver the ordered goods because they are out of stock or for another reason, we will notify the buyer as soon as possible and refund the payment (including shipping costs) immediately, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.
Goods are delivered to the following countries: Finland and Sweden. The following options are available for receiving the order:
- Delivery to a parcel locker
- Pickup
The buyer pays the shipping costs, and the corresponding price information is displayed next to the selected delivery method.
All deliveries typically arrive at the specified delivery address within 2–4 business days from when the purchase agreement takes effect. We reserve the right, in exceptional cases, to deliver the goods within a maximum of 45 calendar days.
After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the agreement made with the online store within 14 days.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a business. To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, the goods must not be used in any way other than what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and function – in the same way as one would be able to test the goods in a physical store.
If the goods have been used for purposes other than determining their nature, characteristics, and function, or if they show signs of use or wear, the online store has the right to reduce the refundable amount in accordance with the decrease in value of the goods.
To return the goods, you must send a withdrawal notification by email to info@prenewpc.com within 14 days of receiving the goods.
The buyer must return the goods within 14 days from the date the withdrawal notification was submitted, or provide proof that the goods have been handed over to the carrier within the specified time.
After the online store has received the returned goods, all payments received under the agreement will be refunded immediately, but no later than within 14 days. The online store has the right to refuse a refund until the returned goods have been received, or until the buyer has provided proof that the goods have been returned – whichever occurs first.
If the buyer has clearly chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard option offered by the online store, the online store is not obligated to reimburse costs exceeding the normal shipping costs.
The online store has the right to cancel the sale and demand that the goods be returned by the buyer if the price displayed in the online store is significantly lower than the market price due to an error.
The online store is responsible to the buyer for any deficiencies or defects in the goods sold that existed at the time of delivery and that become apparent within two years of delivery. During the first year, it is assumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery, and it is the online store's responsibility to prove otherwise.
The buyer has the right to contact the online store within two months from the occurrence of the defect by sending an email to info@prenewpc.com. The online store is not responsible for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the buyer.
If the goods purchased from the online store have defects for which the online store is responsible, the online store will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, all payments related to the agreement will be refunded.
The online store shall respond to the buyer's complaint in writing, or in a form that allows written reproduction, within 15 days.
The online store uses the personal data provided by the buyer only to process the order and deliver the goods. Personal data is forwarded to the carrier responsible for the delivery. The online store sends newsletters and offers to the buyer's email address only if the buyer has expressed a wish to receive them by providing their email address on the website and indicating that they wish to receive direct marketing.
The buyer can at any time stop receiving the offers and newsletters sent to their email address by notifying via email or by following the instructions in the message.
All complaints from the buyer regarding the online store must be submitted via email or by telephone. If the buyer and the online store cannot resolve the dispute through agreement, the buyer may refer the matter to the consumer disputes board, which has jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising from the agreement between the parties. Referring the matter to the consumer disputes board is free of charge for the buyer.
The buyer may also refer the matter to the EU's dispute resolution body.
